Calvin Coolidge
I visited Coolidge's hometown of Plymouth, Vt in January 2003

Silent Cal is buried
on the side of a hill in the Plymouth Cemetery. Believe me, the hill
is a lot steeper than it looks, especially in 5 degree weather with
three feet of snow. |

To get to
Calvin's headstone, I had to dig out the snow with the brush from my
friend's car. Luckily, I saw the Presidential Seal on the top of the
headstone (that was all I could see) and it made it a little easier.
If I look like I am freezing in the picture, I was! |
